Default RIP Jeremi Gonzalez

I know he was terrible for us, but I remember him from back in the day as a decent Cubs prospect.

Killed by lightning. What an awful way to go out.

Wasn't the pitcher's name spelled with a "J?"

Yeah. It's the Mets who all speak Spanish, not their fans.

RIP.

At some point, the media started spelling his name with a 'G,' something I only noticed after he was traded to Milwaukee.

More evidence, that EVER putting on a Mets uniform can be hazardous to your health.

May the Heaven League Draft land you with a franchise not affiliated with losers like the Mets or the Cubs.

RIP.
