Default Mets-Rockies IGT 5-25-08 Mets win on my bday

Never have started one before. Here's to the Mets winning one on my 32nd birthday!

If they stink up the joint (as I expect), I'll never start another one!

How much does anyone bet that Willie sits Nick Evans today?

Maybe that's one I could add to "the list".

He's gotta get Chavy going.

Not as genius as batting Castillo second.

Two near automatic outs at the top of the lineup...

Yeah Delgado is a regular Rogers Hornsby.

Matt Holliday placed on the dl with a hamstring injury. That should help Maine today.

Also, if Seth Smith gets to play today for the Rox, he is my neighbor. His parents told me that he got called up again Friday so they are in Colorado hoping to get them to see him play. When he's home during the offseason, my son and he play baseball in the front yard...kinda cool if you ask me

Deepleft reports Seth Smith is no Nelson Figueroa. I believe Smith played in Yesterday's game. With Holliday and Hawpe on the dl he will get plenty of playing time.

Yeah, he did. He also made the final out in the World Series last year. Seth went to Ole Miss. Papplebon went to MSU. Neat for our intrastate rivalry to take place in the World Series too.
