I don't think it's a terrible comparison, Willie's just not quite as good or as bad as Isaiah was.

Willie was a very good player and a very bad manager.

Isaiah was a great player and an incredibly bad coach.

Even the worst Willie hater cant put him that low....I mean Thomas managed to first trash the team in the front office, then the team on the court, then his whole career with his off the court troubles.

Willie is clueless, but he's never been a complete slimeball like Thomas.

Willie is 5x worse - the sexual harrasment suits. No coach can win with that crappy Knick team and coaching is less important in basketball then it is in baseball.
