Marlon Anderson DL'd:

Fantasy Baseball - news, projections, cheatsheets, depth charts, draft guide - Rotoworld.com

According to the Binghamton Press, the Mets have called up first baseman Nick Evans from Double-A Binghamton.

Evans apparently left for Colorado Saturday morning to join the Mets in their series against the Rockies. The 22 year-old was batting .292 with eight home runs and 31 RBI in 45 games at Double-A. He'll provide the Mets with some infield depth while Marlon Anderson is out.

Yeah, God forbid he cost Damion Easley or Fernando Tatis any at-bats.

According to Metsblog Evans is hitting 8th and playing LF today. Tatis is playing in RF. Beltran is gonna have to cover more ground than ever before.

Oh god another youngster for Willie to ruin called up, they couldn't wait till Willie is fired before they did this? Guy will go like 1-10 his 1st 10 mlb at bats and Willie will tell him he sucks and bench him and then the kid will never be the same. We will end up trading him for nothing later on.

I will ask this. Why hit him 8th?

He will get pitched around, get no pitches to hit= recipe for a bad start

F*cking Willie.

I don't know the order, but who do you think should bat 8th and where would you bat a rookie jumping from AA?

The second baseman with the limp, and 4 year contract in his pocket.

He also has a .373 OB% in May. I'm not fan of Castillo but he's been playing like his career numbers (not saying that's a good thing) for a while now and getting on base in front of the middle of the order.
