No apologies necessary. I was not giving you guys any concrete information other than "I know this guy, and he can pitch" stuff. I would have made fun of Figueroa and some "internet poster" as well looking at it from the other side. But the reality is Nelson has pitched on some piss poor teams, had a bum shoulder for a while and never really had an opportunity to pitch to his full potential on a good squad.

I am confident that Friday night will not be a viewed as a fluke. In the upcoming weeks I am sure that Nelson is going to make it difficult from the Mets to get him out of that rotation. You know how I know this....
