Default IGT 4/11 - Nelson Figueroa comes homes vs. The Brew Crew

you know I needed to start this IGT!

I know I may have nausiated some of you with my constant Figueroa updates...but I am so excited for him tonight. This is a guy who was one of us...a Met Fan from Brooklyn whose dream it was to play pro ball for the Mets. As a Met Fan, I would much rather have Pedro on the mound, but as someone who knows him, I cannot think of anything better than this story. And as a Fan I hope Nelson pitches the way I know he can and becomes a valuable stop gag until Pedro comes back. This will be my one and only post as I am going to the game and will be in his cheering section.

NFIG.

The soothsayers & elders once foretold of this day.

Did they foretell anything about the rain that might ruin my evening at the ballpark?

And on the fifth day Willie trotted out Nelson Figueroa to pitch. He sat back smiled and was satisfied with his creation.

GET THE PIECE OF CRAP McGimpy OFF MY TEAM NOW!!!!!

The McGimpy does most things upside down: eats, sleeps (an average of 23 hours per day), mates, and gives birth. Because of the McGimpy's upside down life, many of the McGimpy's internal organs (liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas) are in different positions from other mammals. McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound.

During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.

It's amazing the amount of MLB players drafted who don't amount to squat
