Default Give credit to Schoenweis

He got the big DP when he needed it last night.

As I think KoQ said though - every night one of the relievers has a meltdown.

The Pen in general deserves some credit. Sucks that Heilman needed them to pick him up but they did.

Feliciano looked downright nasty.

Sadly, they have needed to use way too many of them on a daily basis. Tonight with Nelson F pitching, they might need to use the full pen.

Nelson tonight, but luckily Johan thereafter so they can get some rest on Saturday.

Maybe the local kid will be amped enough to perform real well.

Yeah they really need 6 out of Figueroa tonight.....you figure Sosa (3 in a row even if it was just 1 pitch last night) and Feliciano (a lot of pitches back to back) are probably way low on the usability chart.

Muniz is probably the first one in if its clean up duty night

If NFig gets in trouble early, you can write this game off and it could be double digits for the Brew Crew. Unless they can knock Parra around and win like 13-12 or something.

I am surprised to see how crappy Erin has been. He looked real focused coming out of spring training.

tonights game may be a giant suckfest for the mets. Here's hoping Fig can at least pitch decently tonight.

This is the Brewers' only trip to NY this season - you can bet all of the games get in.

I'm not wishing for a good NFig performance so much as the Mets avoiding MORE longterm injuries.

"Sure Beltran dislocated both shoulders and hyperextended his left knee by 87 degrees, but we still think that he's day-to-day", stated Mets GM Omar Minaya after 18 tequila sunrises.

I hope they do get it in, only because I'm travelling all the way there.

BTW do they sell those cheap rain ponchos at the stadium?

I believe Heilman's E.r.a is hovering around infinity vs the Phils. He hasn't looked this bad coming out of the pen since before Sanchez went down in '06(he did get himself straightened out thankfully) I would have no issue using Felicano in the 8th inning and trying to get Heilman straightened out earlier in the game at least for now.

That over paid piece of **** cost the team the playoffs, along with Mota, in 2007. Instead of giving him credit, I want him to do his ****ing job consistently and get them to October.
