Default $15 to park this year?!?!?!?!?

I was just looking at some pics of CitiField on another site (I would give the link but I do not want to be accused of posting this just to promote some other site. . .the site has good pictures of a lot of ballparks though) when I noticed that.

Isn't that up from $10 last year?

I think it was $14 last year... it hasn't been $10 for a few years

This, and the recent heartless play by this team, has my convinced they actually DON'T want people to see this team play...

Do you actually believe the nonsense that comes out of your mouth?

Anyway, here's the more important question - what are beer prices up to this year? It was $7.25 for a 16oz Miller Lite last year...

I'm going to start taking the train from North Central NJ.

The house we're buying is a short walk uphill from the Lyons NJ Transit stop, so it'll all work out nice come June...

It's not that easy to get to Shea via train from NJ. You've got to get to Penn Station, then take one subway to get to No. 7, then to Shea. It is a bit time consuming also.

why wouldn't you just take the LIRR from penn to shea? its like 4 bucks, and 2 stops.

BINGO!

And when the weather's good, I just might walk to GC and grab the 7...

That's why I pay the extra cash to take the LIRR straight from Penn. Initially I used to think it was too much money but it's so much quicker that it's worth it. Especially since I have to rush after games to get back to Penn because the last direct train to my hometown leaves a little before midnight. Luckily they've altered the schedule this year and there's a transfer train at 12:30ish as well.

I think most people forget about going that way. I know I did. It saves a good chunk of time and you aren't crammed in.

I did the LIRR last year. It was fantastic. I was just wondering how the crowds were.
