Actually it might torture Mets fans more if they finally get their all-time franchise player (their Stan Musial or Mike Schmidt)... and win zero championships with him.

At least "JRoll" is a good player. Im more concerned about these other **** ball players that have the mets solved (Burrell, Victorino, Taguchi, Kelly Johnson)

To bad the Phillies let Wes Helms walk, they could have had a Met killing allstar team out there!

I wouldn't be shocked if Ollie Perez goes over there after this season, and wins 20 games for a team that actually scores him some runs.
