The fact that it's the last home opener at Shea doesn't resonate that much with me... much more concerned with how the team does.

No, but I love those photos people have posted (I think it's from the NYC subway tribute site) of the people getting off the 7 train in like May of 64. Real time capsule-y type stuff.

I get the feeling going to a game at citifield won't be like going to a game. There will be more people there just to see what the buzz is about rather than coming out to support the mets.

Oliver Perez is going to step up big. I can't say the same thing about the Mets offense though.
