Default From the "It couldn't happen to a better guy" files

Mike Hampton, whose last start was back on August 19, 2005, was scheduled to start today for the Braves. He was scratched at the last second with a strained pectoral muscle.

**** you, douche.

holy crap, Bobby Cox is taking one from the Davey Johnson playbook. In the 10th inning, he just pulled his reliever and sent him to play left field in order to bring in another reliever.

If anyone's watching this game, Bobby Cox is pulling a Davey Johnson and has a relief pitcher in the OF... not sure if he's going to alternate them...

Resop got out 1, then with a runner on third, he sent Resop to left and brought in Ring to get the second out, now he's putting Resop back on the mound and pulled Ring putting a position player back in left.

And Tyler Yates gets the W. How can they trade that guy when everyone knows the Mets are useless against scrubby relievers?

Don't forget scrubby hitters and scrubby starting pitchers.
