Another wonderful job by David Howard. I read the team was wearing hats with that hideous logo during the intrasquad game today. I am sure those hats will be best sellers.

wagers on whether Citi will even still exist when the stadium opens? I am actually on the side of who cares, as well as I am not suprised how stupid it looks, but if I was a betting man, I would say the Mets would be the odds on favorite for franchise to sell naming rights only to have the name change before the first person ever walks thru a turnstile.

They should've gone with MetLife in the first place. Then the logo can involve Snoopy wearing a Mets cap.

I can't say David Howard was responsible for this, but I'd LOVE to have been in the board room when this one was decided upon.

dozens of variations of square next to rectangle, HELL they could have even had the diamond sitting on top of a rectangle that said FIELD, but nope, lets go with Vertigo and then theme of toppling over...good stuff
