| Super Moderator | Yup, the Mets are interested... I wish they would stop with this sh!t already. We already know that Omar thinks he has the 1970 Baltimore Orioles starting rotation, and they are NOT signing ANY starting pitching... oh yeah, Josh Fogg, but he sucks. | Wellemeyer isn't bad. He was pretty solid a few years ago.

| I thank God I haven't wasted any of my money on tickets for this team. I remember Omar and Jeffie on Fatxessa's radio show a day or two after the season ended. They said they need to upgrade their pitching and catching. Well, guess what? They still haven't done a damn thing. I guess we have to wait for football season to come back. Baseball this year looks like a total bust. |

| the only thing the Mets should be interested in is selling the team. They are running this franchise into the ground if they haven't already totally traumatized the fan base by now.

| Wellemeyer's 2007-2008 stint with the Cardinals more than makes him worth a flyer to join camp and at worst keep at AAA. I'm not saying he's likely to pitch that well ever again, but there's a chance he can fill some role and the Mets need all the held they can find.

| Except those aren't the guys that need to go. It is guys like Castillo, Cora and Perez that are the problem.
