By the way, has anybody heard any updates on Beltran? Did the leeches to his testicles work or was this yet another mistake by the Mets' medical staff?

Can David just take a K and save everyone some time?

He's supposedly going to rest through the all-star break, and then resume activities. I have a serious feeling we've seen him play his last game this season.

The Mets are going to be about 7 games back soon, and they'll probably shut him down for the year to "play it safe."

I think that's a pretty safe bet.

I'm sure the Mets will get to that before Labor Day.

My money is on Oliver Perez.

So the leeches are not working?

No, that didnt work, but the Mets Doctors found the solution. They are removing his mole and Right arm tomorrow. Instead of Moley, He will then be known to the fans as Lefty.

The leeches got hurt as a rsult of getting tangled up in Beltran's pubic hair.

Omar is saying they are day to day.

It'll turn out he was really trying to throw them at nearby puppies and kittens.

My lord, Wright has to be the least clutch "star" in the major leagues.

Manny Ramirez just served a 50-game suspension. Is there ANY doubt that he'll STILL finish the year with about 10 more home runs than ANY Mets player?

Sheff has played for some good teams. He must be wondering how he got himself into this mess.

10 more? My friend, the Mets may not have a guy with more than 15 HRs this year. Manny will STILL hit around 30 or 35.
