| Boy, that Ted Williams sure could hit.

| absolutely, These numbers are a farce. Anyone who has to plead to the public "believe in me" is full of $hit IMHO. If you believe that Pujols has put up these numbers cleanly, I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklyn. If you don't think cheating doesn't still go on in the age of "drug testing", then just look at professional cycling. They have the strictest testing in place and these athletes still continue to cheat. |

| The saddest thing is that it is July 4th and his 31 HRs and 82 RBIs are likely more than any Mets player will put up for the entire year.

| Clean or not, he hit from the beginning. The question is, if he is this good why did teams pass on him 11 times before the Cardinals finally selected him? I never could find a straight answer on that.

No one will even hit 20 HRs this year - figure Sheff is due to go down with injury soon, and he was the only one who has that potential.

| It isn't that Pujols is that good. It's that all the pitchers he faces are "not good."
