| Clearly, they need someone to take control of the CD player right Franco! Not saying he's wrong, but given the way he and Leiter meddled and caused clubhouse rifts all of their own in the latter days (and I was a big Leiter fan), he has little right to critique.

| This is a valid criticism, but Franco is the last person (well maybe Leiter) who should be complaining about leadership. Those two clubhouse lawyers did a great job helping drag the team to the cellar in the beginning of the decade.

| Franco's dead on, but like others have said, hearing it from him is like hearing from your kid who set the kitchen on fire playing with matches that the house stinks.

| In addition to echoing Rk's excellent insights did anyone notice who once again was the first player mentioned as a barrier to someone stepping up and taking charge? This time supposedly by David Wright no less.

Did you notice that Franco said that GARY SHEFFIELD has been great in the clubhouse, but made NO mention about the other guy, after mentioning him amongst veteran leaders? | |
