We need a hungry, fresh face as a mgr. Recycling old managers is a bad idea, and never seems to work for the Mets. (See Howe, Art).

Then again, we had that (fresh face) with Willie, and that did not turn out well, either.... though to this day, he got way too much blame.

Let's say they fired Manuel today.... I'd choose Oberkfell to take the reigns. But I'd bet Omar will do something really dumb, like choosing Sleepy Alomar Sr as interim manager.
