Yeah, he's over the hill. Too bad he still leads all of baseball in wins, k's, era and innings pitched since he became a full time starter in 2004.

Santana deserved better last night. My biggest beef was him walking the oppossing pitcher on four pitches to start an inning. That should never happen.

But I am not sure who was out to screw him more, Wolf or his own fielders.

Can't trade Santana. For the same reason you can't trade Reyes and Beltran or release Delgado. Which is the same reason you need Santos and Castro and Castillo. The same reason why Tatis, Martinez and Hernandez are untouchable and why you would never get rid of Nieve.
