Holt, Parnell, Neise, Murphy and Evans to the Nats for Nick Johnson and Adam Dunn

I would do that in a NY minute. I have the feeling this leg thing is going to nag Reyes fo a long, long time. In fact, he may never be the same.

Trade the entire Met roster for the entire Redsox roster, thats the only way we will make the playoffs ever.

I have said this in the beginning...IF..rebuilding is the goal..and the "core" is to be broken up to provide an enema for this constipated joke of a team..then I believe REYES will be the one to go(top ss who signed very CHEAP)..and can still bring back ALOT..Beltran is getting older..and still makes decent $$.. Wright(Is untouchable to Management)..The Team needs to be reconfigured to the BALLPARK..I just know that deep down..whatever PROPSECTS the Mets were to get for Reyes..will all suck..b/c thats the mets..I would want ESTABLISHED MLB'ers in the deal..I like Ells. but not as the KEY to deal.. I too beleive that the Mets aren't as bad of a shape in PITCHING (organization wise) as they sadly bad in POSITION PLAYERS...so I want pkg to be heavier on that end..and because of that..not sure Sox would give up anybody else worthwhile(youk/Pedroia)... Reyes needs to bring back a stud...(Adrian Gonzales Type of player)..

Reyes is not good enough to bring back Gonzales

I know..not alone..but he certainly would be the centerpiece...I don't think they would do it anyway..he is theri lone star they need to add pieces around him...I just meant it as the type of player they would have to target and not "potential" stud rookies b/c we know the minute they put on a Met uni... they will be called up to soon and FLAME OUT,..

A star 1B is a lot easier to come by than a star SS. Gonzales is turning into a great player, but he's also older and manning an offensive position. Replacing someone like him would be a hell of a lot easier than replacing a Reyes...

Maybe not this year but a hamstring injury for a 25 year old has never changed the course of his career before.
