| Super Moderator | As poor a job he did (bad knee or not, though I think that is just typical Mets org excuse-making bullsh!t), I have always felt he got the short end of the stick by the organization. I too would be terribly insulted if I got passed over for a rotation spot by some of the utter garbage the Mets have trotted out there, plus other players whining to the press and getting their way. THAT SAID, he needs to go. Complaining about a rotation spot is his ticket out of here. Can't pitch here...not after last season. |

| The Red Sox picked up a pretty decent reliever the other day. I dont know why Heilman + Evans + some other spare parts couldn't go to the royals for that same pen guy + Soria.

| As shitty as the contract has been with the Giants --- who doesn't wish that the team traded Milledge and Heilman to the A's for Zito at the trade deadline of 2006? (as was reported by several sources.)
