793 threats like this was fine, but this is now one too many.

As President of the Justice for Heilman foundation, I am disappointed that the media chose to revive this non-issue on a slow news day. While we're cherry-picking parts of the article, it further states that:

"Although Heilman often gets flak on talk radio because of his desire to return to starting, he is never disruptive in the clubhouse and addresses the subject only when asked."

He wants a greater role - there's nothing wrong with ambition. What is Heilman supposed to say, that he's satisfied in a lesser role? That he wants to pitch less innings? That he has no confidence in his ability to do more than what he's doing now?

With the exception of Boras, what agent will publicly say something the client disagrees with? All you're saying is Feelings isn't THAT stupid to say it himself.

"The objective is not to be traded," Rodgers said. "The objective is to get out of the bullpen."
If the Mets want no part of him in the rotation, and the "objective" is to get out of the bullpen, exactly what are you saying then?

Mets currently have two starters right now, so hey, who knows.

Lowe, Vasquez, or Perez will take one of those spots with ease. It's all a question of their confidence in Niese plus whoever they sign for ST. Maine will be back, I know...no confidence in him, but he's getting a spot on this team.

Handing Niese the 5th spot is a huge mistake. He may be good at some point but handing the guy the spot and expecting production is not a luxury this team can afford

Thanks again for nothing Erin. Dont let the door hit you on the way out.

Of course, once he gets rid of the Mets Jersey, he will be the Mets nemesis next season, we will soon be calling him Cy Heilman. What else is new ?
