Granted, but he was there PHYSICALLY for the entire year. As for performing under pressure, he was pretty awful in September. He had like a 5.8 ERA and averaged a little more than 5 innings per start. Even the last game of the season, when he pitched well, he couldn't escape the 6th inning.

Injuries? The core of this team was in place from April to September. Face it; they are bunch of losers who fold under any type of pressure (with the exceptance of Johan).

A closer and two corner outfielders are not core members of the team?

I agree that they are a bunch of losers, but let's not pretend that injuries didn't have a big impact on this season. And I don't mention the injuries as an excuse for not making the PS, only as an indictment on Omar.

Funny, but it was the Tatis injury that they couldnt overcome. Clutch hit after clutch hit, all season...he went down and it felt like the offense did too.
