It's time for Mr Castro to go. But Pudge's career is over. We need someone who is younger and can throw runners out occaisionally. I don't know who, but I know Castro and Pudge's careers are done.

A way younger version that was asked to play in MLB without getting adequate minor league time. Think Pelfrey.

Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the first-place New York Mets.

Well, tied for first place in the NL East with the Phillies at 52-44. But with a 10-game winning streak, and with the way the Mets rallied for a 10-8 win over the Reds last night, it seems like only a matter of time before the Mets leave the rest of the division in the rearview mirror.
You ****ing knew it after reading that.

I dont want Pudge(how old is he anyway?) but something needs to be done at the catcher position along with 2nd base and a corner OF position. Schneider basically sucks and Castro has become Alou.

At the same time, I believe the Mets should cut ties with Carlos Delgado, Orlando Hernandez, Castillo, Heilman, Schoeneweis, Damion Easley, Marlon Anderson, Oliver Perez, Moises Alou, Pedro Martinez, and others

I dont know why he has Perez on that list. We currently have 2 starters 3 if you count Maine and 4 if you count Niese. Delgado has to go.

The McGimpy does most things upside down: eats, sleeps (an average of 23 hours per day), mates, and gives birth. Because of the McGimpy's upside down life, many of the McGimpy's internal organs (liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas) are in different positions from other mammals. McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound.

During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.

Pudge? Oh dear god.....Hasnt this team had enough aging latinos past their prime who only give a **** about themselves? That move would be terrible.

I agree the Mets need a veteran leader somewhere, but looking at the list of available catchers the Mets would be forced to take on a guy who cant hit at all like a Brad Asmus or Jason Varitek to get that from that position.

Personally if they are looking for a change there I'd look at Javier Valentine since he can hit a bit and plays a couple of other positions. Definitely not a defensive catcher, but can swing the bat off the bench.
