You still going to cry about a collapse that has yet to happen?

You still going to gloat and say "I told you so" on something they haven't accomplish yet?

No, maybe just politely asking you to stop crying

I think Johnny All-Staff is pitching tomorrow for the Mets.

Manuel can ill afford to even let Ollie run into any big difficulty.... Any sense of a meltdown, and the hook must come.

Thing is, who comes in next? Manuel's said he's keeping Maine out. Santana and Pelfrey are out, too. Pedro?? He'll give up three without blinking.

After that, you've got Knight, Niese, and Figueroa.

Nothing about Ollie not going 8 sounds pretty.

Make me wish we could clone a Darren Oliver or Pat Mahomes, just for tomorrow in case it is needed.

It's exactly THAT type of guy (if not that EXACT guy -- Oliver) that the team has been missing since '06.

I just want the Mets to come out tomorrow and step on Olson's throat.

Mets cannot worry about the Brewers.

Just win, baby....

True. I'm going to worry though. By 4pm I want the Mets to have one, and during the ceremony, I want the Brewers to lose, and I want to experience the entire stadium going crazy. But, ya can't always get what ya want.

Why oh WHY does it have to be someone pitching for the Mets who could easily be out of the game after two horrible innings? They can't have a Johan Santana AND a level headed and decently talented Rick Reed type? They HAVE to have a talented, ten-cent brain type going in their (latest) most important game of the year?

Gotta love not knowing if he's going to give you a great Game 7-like effort or an effort like the 3rd to last game last season. I just hope his slider is working tomorrow.

I just hope there's no dick ump behind the plate. What a great weekend of baseball. As much as I love playoff baseball nothing beats the tension of a pennant race.

Because of the McGimpy's upside down life, many of the McGimpy's internal organs (liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas) are in different positions from other mammals. McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound.

During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.

You mean third to last right? Cause if he pitches like John Maine did that afternoon, well that would be very, very, very clutch.

My mistake, I was at that Ollie game so I remember it more.
