As we near the first pitch, I am sure you guys all share my thoughts. Back on March 31, if we had a chance to be in this position again, who wouldn't sign up??!!

I wouldn't, because I expect more from a $140 m team in a weak division. We needed Robinson Cancel and Ramon Martinez to LITERALLY save them from elimination. We'd be 2 back without them. That's scary as hell. Without Santana and 2nd half Delgado, this team is horrendous and waiting for Wright/Beltran to consistently carry this team is like waiting for Carlos Delgado to knit an American Flag.

Well, time to be a fan. Nothing we can do but win, and hope the other guy looses. I am gonna watch and root on the basis that its very well could be the last 'meaningful' game until April...so...heck. LETS GO METS! (but fire OMAR!)
