Default We're still making the playoffs.

Let's give it up. They equaled our total runs about .03 seconds into the game. Did anyone think for a second we would win this game after these masters of mediocrity took a steaming **** all over the bases and put up 3 LOBs in the first inning? New year, same ****. Pretty soon -- new stadium, new year, same ****. Can someone explain to me how we survived this long. The 10 game or so winning streak has been the bane of my existence -- twinkle of hope my ass.

But we're still making the playoffs.

Miguel Pelfriño pitched last night's game, didn't you watch? Aròn Heilmano and José Smithez came out of the bullpen and blew it.

I believe that there is nothing the Mets can do anymore. The Brewers will win their last 2 games and it will be all over! Somehow I think that just to make it even worse... Mets could win both games, Phillies could lose today and then tomorrow the Mets will come back and win the game only to have both the Phillies and the Brewers either blow out their opponents or have come-back victories...

If the Brewers win out, you gotta hand it to them. They deserve it.

Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the first-place New York Mets.

Well, tied for first place in the NL East with the Phillies at 52-44. But with a 10-game winning streak, and with the way the Mets rallied for a 10-8 win over the Reds last night, it seems like only a matter of time before the Mets leave the rest of the division in the rearview mirror.
You ****ing knew it after reading that.

I'll still be there tomorrow cheering my butt off though!
