Default Wright is delusional

"He made a good 3-2 pitch, but I went up there with, what I thought, a good plan, a good mindset, put a good swing on it, and just couldn't get the result I wanted"

At least now they'll be eliminated before the "Final Day at Shea"

Because of the McGimpy's upside down life, many of the McGimpy's internal organs (liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas) are in different positions from other mammals. McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound.

During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.

That is not true. Wright could have been like Wagner and just said he was terrible and this loss is on him.

How could he say the pitcher made a great pitch on 3-2 count when the pitch was at least 6 inches outside and high? I could see if it was a slider that fooled him but it was fast ball.

and what difference would that make? They still lost and he'd still be getting ripped. I dont see him getting credit from not hiding from the media. I'm sick over last night's loss. This stupid sh!t about what someone says just pisses me off more.

I admire Wright being accessible and saying whatever he wants to the media after a sh*t loss like that.

The fact remains that he is still way too spotty in the clutch. That AB in the 9th was brutal. Up 3-0 only to strike out on a pitch way out of the strike zone, I mean it just doesn't get much worse than that.

He is better than that, talent-wise. I do think he has crumbled mentally.

The really frustrating part of that ab is that he wanted to do too much and wasn't considering the fact that a walk guarantees an ab for either Delgado or Beltran.

Wright must be drinking the same batch of Vitamin Water that Omar & Willie was drinking. There must be something in it, that makes you delusional.

We should probably be drinking it too

And that is a HUGE problem with the offense. It seems they walk up to the plate with an entirely wrong gameplan, and especially so, when the game is on the line. When they need a walk or single, they are looking for a Home Run. When they need a Home Run, you see something like a bunt. The lack of common sense is mind boggling.

Nobody said they are the sharperst pencils in the box.

Oh please....Wright with that ridiculous uppercut of his, is either watching too many Piazza AB reruns or went to the Dave Kingman School of Hitting.

Hes become unglued quicker than Thurman Thomas did in Super Bowl28.
