Default Roy Halliday

I heard talk this year how Halliday wants out of Toronto! Would you trade Wright and who ever else to get him? I for one would not mind seeing Wright go, not cause I hate him, but because I feel he cant handle the spot light of New York. Would you do this trade

I would think seriously about it. But I would want to know who my third basemen is in 2009 prior to doing the deal. I agree about Wright not being able to handle the pressure in NY.

Yup trade Wright for a 30+ year old pitcher who probally has 3-4 good years left, and don't forget to give him a 4 year 80 million dollar extension. Hey its the Mets makers of all the wrong decisions so this can be reality this offseason.

wow, that's metboy level of retardedness right there. Why don't they trade Reyes while they are at it too?

Murphy was a 3B in the minors.

As much as I'd want Halladay you just can't make that type of move.

Well, that's because you're an idiot with no life, in addition to being the biggest loser on this board.

Sure, the guy is pressing. But to make such an idiotic statement like the guy can't hanlde NY, as if he's another Bonilla or Ed Whitson, is laughable. Nobody in the history of this franchise has started his Met career with such a bang, nor has anyone been as available to the toughest media in the country in good times and bad.

When I think of what David has done for this franchise and the fact that he's only 25 and one of the main reasons they have been able to compete since 2005, there's no way I would trade him for anyone, let alone Halliday. When you think of players like Schmidt, Ripken, Gwynn and Biggio, you think of HOF caliber players that were the heart and soul of their franchises from start to finish. We've never had that and finally have a shot at it, yet you guys want to trade him for Halliday?

This is a freaking joke, IMO. Why don't you idiots trade yourselves to become fans of another team?

I give you credit Denny. I was gonna defend Wright from the vultures out there but it just isnt worth the effort.

The McGimpy does most things upside down: eats, sleeps (an average of 23 hours per day), mates, and gives birth. Because of the McGimpy's upside down life, many of the McGimpy's internal organs (liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas) are in different positions from other mammals. McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound.

During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.

Wright deserves to get ripped for his choke job last night and his idiotic statements...but trading him? Now that's just stupid, even for Jobu.

As pissed as I am at DW right now, I cant see any scenario where I would consider trading him. It would only be an offer too good to refuse, and even then, it would be a very tough call.

I'm an idiot with no life? OK, great statement. I am pretty confident that my life is a more desireable one then yours is, if for no other reason then the fact that I won't be having my breast plate cracked open for a quadruple bypass one day. Take your aspirin yet?

As for being the "biggest loser," that is a title you could one day hold too, if you go on that TV show and stick to the diet.

* It has been my experience that anyone that adds the word "Big" before their names usually could
get away with using the words "fat," "obese" or "husky."

Except for the fact that I have posted pictures of myself on this site before, a$$hole. Not to mention that I'm known around here for hating fat a$$es( and skateboarders). But nice try.

Anytime you want to challenge me to a five mile run let me know, loser.
