Default David Wright cost this team the playoffs...

Sorry to say it, but he is the most unclutch player this side of Arod. That AB was a disgrace. I am sure he won't care because he will go back to his stable of women and millions of dollars but he just completely ended the season. Good work.

David Wright? Sure blame the whiteboy, it isn't the bullpen who blew 30 games right?

Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to the first-place New York Mets.

Well, tied for first place in the NL East with the Phillies at 52-44. But with a 10-game winning streak, and with the way the Mets rallied for a 10-8 win over the Reds last night, it seems like only a matter of time before the Mets leave the rest of the division in the rearview mirror.
You ****ing knew it after reading that.

No doubt David murdered us at just the wrong time tonight, but its the entire freaking team, and organization that is the problem.

Here you have it : Starters who cant go more than 5 innings, a bullpen that cant get anyone out, Hitters who cant EVER get a clutch hit, coaches who cant coach, a manager who makes some very suspect moves, a GM who is a massive idiot, and owners that cant make rational decisons.

You want to blame Wright for tonight ? Go for it, but the problems are MUCH bigger than Wright. This entire organization is in the crapper, and it needs a massive overhaul.

The biggest problem is that the Wilpons own this franchise and they lately pick GMs through friendship...Phillips, Duquette, and Omar..not experience or past performance.

The only thing Omar has been good at is gambling with the Wilpons money. He does thing on instinct and feel rather than intelligence. When he could have hired a Piniella he hires a bozo Yankee favorite with no managing experience.

The Wilpons are the problem and unfortunately they call the shots.

Maybe - but Jose Reyes comes up short in these spots too - our two cornerstone players do not come up big when we need it the most!

Jose at least had the triple last night... and when he gets out, at least it was a strike.

David wright couldn't lift a single pitch, then strikes out on a ball 10 feet off the plate. A complete choke job

Yes, blame the David Wright and the bullpen. David can't get any hits with men in scoring position and the bullpen can't get any outs. Nice combination that wins World Series.

THEY ARE THE BIGGEST EFFIN TEASE IN THE HISTORY OF ANYTHING EVER....ALL THEY EVER DO IS GIVE ME HYPOTHETICAL BLUE BALLS...AND DAVID WRIGHT IS LIKE THE UGLY FAT STRIPPER THAT MAKES 15 DOLLARS A NIGHT ONLY BEACUSE ONE GUY HAS A FETISH FOR FAT HOES"

Been saying it all year. Wright blows w/ men on 3rd and less then 2 out. And if he could have hit even a meager .275 RISP this year he would have far more RBI then Howard. He is our Arod.

Wright had a hit with the bases loaded last night also. Both have this problem. The question is: why?
