I still cant believe this is true UNLESS they get into the playoffs. If the GM is immune I can't believe the Mets can roll into a new stadium after back to back chokes with largely the same staff.

I mean Manuel gets some slack because of the hole that was dug to start the year, but he still had a 4 game lead with about 2 weeks left....and they arent going to fire the real problem(s)...so someone needs to be the goat.

Even with Willie last year they left him twisting in the wind for about a week after the season ended. Yes his team blew 7 1/2 games, but he also had 2006 to fall back on.

The McGimpy does most things upside down: eats, sleeps (an average of 23 hours per day), mates, and gives birth. Because of the McGimpy's upside down life, many of the McGimpy's internal organs (liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas) are in different positions from other mammals. McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound. During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.
