On Sports center they just reported Omar Minaya is going to sign a four year extension.... all you can do at this point is just laugh and shake your head.

Wow, so those shitstains Kay and Don LaGreca really have their ears to the ground in terms of knowing what's going on with the Mets.

Those two were babbling today for a couple of segments about why Omar does not deserve to stick around if the Mets fail to make the playoffs, and why should he get to make a third hire after Steamboat and Steamboat II!

Solid arguments, but if they both like to consider themselves "insiders" shouldn't they, or someone behind the scenes of their show interject some inside info, or have someone come on and give some rumblings about what may or may not happen?

When I first saw this thread and saw who posted it, I thought this was a joke. I assumed it was someone playing off the Castillo contract...

If true, this is a travesty. This team was ill prepared for this season. In addition, even if you look at minor league standings, you'll see even the mets minor league clubs aren't very good. Why is Omar invited back? Beats the hell out of me. They have fired better men in the past.
