Looks like a doped up pregnant Carlos Bearga. That's what this season is. Except he shits on your face on your birthday.

How's that? Does that sum up this season nicely?

Of course, the funny thing is we'll all live and die with this team over the next 6 days and it won't mean **** when the Brewers go 1-5. Thank god for the Brewers.

How many times is Jerry gonna watch Castillo look at 3 pitches and go sit down? If I was managing this team Castillo wouldn't come close to being in the lineup, ever!! Pay him and let him sit!

If everyone on this team played each game like Beltran plays defense, they'd have clinched at least the wildcard by now.

I looked at just the Mets box score this morning and said "How the **** can your 1-6 batters get on base that much and you only score 5 runs?"

Then I looked at 7-8 in the order.

Oh, for the record, I did not see that play live so I did not know the context. I just wanted to get a laugh in this down in the dumps forum. You gotta admit, this team always finds ways to put on the red shoes and nose when we need them to step up. At some point, you just have to laugh.

The Mets have made the fewest errors since the all star break of any team in the NL. Defense has not been their problem.

Which is hard to believe given the gaffes they are prone too in big spots. I think the real reason they are losing is because they are simply not a good team. I really don't think it's effort. It's kind of like a flacid man in a porno. He'll try his damndest, but you can't use a fish to drill a hole in the cement.

The Mets are one flacid limp dick trying their best. In the end, it's just not good enough.

I think our starting 8 are fine. Warner Wolf said on Imus the other morning that the bullpen has blown 29 games. If we won less than half of them, we would've clinched already.
