Default Seven Games...

How many wins do you honestly think the Mets will get the rest of the way? I can see maybe 3.

Well the Cubs have all but wrapped up home field for the NLCS, so do you really think Sweet Lou is going to pull out all the stops this week?

Course that being said, these ARE the Mets we are talking about.

IMO, the best the Mets will do against the Cubs is split.

I doubt they play out the string, even if they have their division and NL home field all locked up.

I'd speculated in another thread that perhaps Lou Pinella would rather face the Mets in round one than any other team...

Heck, if you were any other playoff bound team, who would YOU want to draw in round one?

I would have gladly taken a split if the *******s won today instead of throwing away another game. Now they practically NEED to take 3 of 4 what with the Brewers playing the Pirates and all.

No Cub starter is going more then 5 innings. 3 of 4 from the Cubs and 2 of 3 from the Marlins. Brewers have to run the table to tie

The McGimpy does most things upside down: eats, sleeps (an average of 23 hours per day), mates, and gives birth. Because of the McGimpy's upside down life, many of the McGimpy's internal organs (liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas) are in different positions from other mammals. McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound.

During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.

3 MAYBE 4.

I know that the Brave announcers were guessing at the pitching matchups, but what SHOULD they be assuming that Piniella wants to line up his guys for the postseason?

As currently configured, the Mets will face Lilly, Zambrano and Harden....
