Default Sell this team now Freddie please!

Maybe your not cheap, but you clearly give to much authority to the wrong people in the front office. We need a owner with baseball knowledge not just someone to write checks out and let the front office do whatever the **** they want. I mean you let a bum trade away Kazmir for a bum. You let a dumbass sign a pitcher who's arm was falling off to a 4 year contract? You didn't stress the issue of getting releivers for the past 3 years. You let a bum keep managing this team even though he had a lower approval rating then the president. you signed a bum with shot knees to a 4 year contract? You almost gave out a 3 year 12 mil contract to a bum hitting .220? You clearly do not know how to run your business and you clearly do not deserve this team. The teams value is probally the highest it has ever been, so please cash in your chips and sell this team now and stop putting your costumers thru this misery.

I can't blame Freddie Coupon. I can't even get mad at what has happened the past 2years. Mainly because it is incomprehensible that anyone would keep guys such as Heilman, Schoenweiss, Smith and Feliciano together for 2 years.

I mean the gm had all winter to bring in new relievers. 2 managers had all summer to try different people: Parnell, Muniz, Collazo, anyone in the minors to see if they could grow into a significant bullpen role.

You can't get mad at this because it is comical, like a bugs bunny cartoon. You know that any of the above relievers brought into a game, no matter how big a lead will blow it. How can you trust Omar, Bernazard, Manuel, Randolph, Werthen, etc with any personnel decisions when they keep this situation the way it is. I mean come on, you just have to laugh. Are they serious.

And then Manuel lost any chance he had to being a permanent manager with playing Castillo and Church. Castillo is shot and Church has come back to what he is, a bench player.

It is like looking at a car crash, you can't seem to look away. Amazing.

they've got HOW MANY slots left on the 40 the rest of the season?

Would it KILL them to bring up whomever they have down on the farm to see if ANYONE can get 1-2 outs at a time?? Collazo, ANYONE. Hell, call Derek Bell and Todd Zeile to see if they want to come out of retirement.

I'm not kidding, I'd bring Holt all of the way up. Did he get a guaranteed MLB contract after the draft? I know that some amateurs get them as part of their negotiations.

Muniz got four chances to help the pen......... he stunk each and every time. Collazo is an AAAA pitcher that couldn't get me or you out. Parnell no question deserves a shot to be the setup man. Manuel tried to hand Reyes the job(with Easley out) with three straight starts and he barely can hit the ball past the pitchers mound. If Tatis didn't get hurt he'd likely be getting some starts in Rf over Church. Chavez can't hit and Evans is hitting 5 for 36 vs righties.

This is all Wilpon's fault for not ****n firing Omar in the 1st place along with Willie do you not understand? The blame starts at the top and that is ownership, the past 3 gm's they have hired have been bums its not just Omar is it? So how the **** can you say the Wilpons deserve this team. You can blame Omar, Phillips and Duquette or you can blame ownership direct for hiring them. The Wilpons need to sell this team now. What qualified Omar to be hired in the ****n 1st place, why was he such a good ****n candidate? What exactly has he accomplished in his career? What did they throw darts at dart boards and it landed on Omar? This is like the same morons blaming every gm the Knicks have hired in the past decade instead of blaming ownership direct. I hope they don't run their real estate business like this.

Omar and Willie should've BOTH been fired last offseason.

They'd be up 7 games by now if that had been done.

And who do you blame for them not being fired?

This guy gets a lot of sh*t here, and I can certainly understand some of it. But in all seriousness, how is what he is saying here one iota wrong?

It's like Randolph and Mortimer Duke are the ones running this team, with Clarence Beeks as the GM...

The question is.......Who is to blame for the lack of action in getting new pitchers for the bullpen? Is it Omar? or the owners?

If it's Omar then keeping him around would make as much sense as electing McCain and expecting a different outcome.

If it's the owners.......it's time to be thankful the stadium will be so small the avergae fan won't be able to get tickets anyway.

I know it's a different Randolph, but speaking of Randolph, did anyone see that brainless jackass slide into second base when he was introduced tonight? Out of all 3,000 players they brought back, no one was more impressed with themselves than that f*cking moron. Christ, did he suck up a relatively tame ovation. F*cking asshole.
