GET THE PIECE OF CRAP McGimpy OFF MY TEAM NOW!!!!!

The McGimpy does most things upside down: eats, sleeps (an average of 23 hours per day), mates, and gives birth. Because of the McGimpy's upside down life, many of the McGimpy's internal organs (liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas) are in different positions from other mammals. McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound.

During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.

Santana's already given up three solo HRs. But look at those August numbers!

Well, tied for first place in the NL East with the Phillies at 52-44. But with a 10-game winning streak, and with the way the Mets rallied for a 10-8 win over the Reds last night, it seems like only a matter of time before the Mets leave the rest of the division in the rearview mirror.
You ****ing knew it after reading that.

Gee, I wonder if the word "collapse" will be mentioned on the ESPN broadcast tonight?

You get the feeling Joe Buck is disappointed he didn't get to do the game yesterday. This is going to be the new Curse of Babe Ruth to these guys.

Good thing I'll be at Shea, and not watching. Sure Miller & Morgan will be ball washing the Phillies and how they've "battled" back to get back to this point.

You're right, they haven't had to battle; they threw their gloves on the field and the Mets' testicles shrunk back into their bodies.

If Santana pitches a shutout tonight will the Mets win?

Steve, do you ever sit at your computer, look up at the ceiling, stare back at your computer screen, maybe look in a mirror, and then go back to the computer screen and think, "Wow, I'm f*cking worthless"? - DDP

JA - didn't we used to kind of, sort of dislike each other? I mean in the internet board sense...

Dude, we've TOTALLY become best buds over the the last year or so.

Santan has a long history of choking in "playoff" atmosphere games. Tonight won;t be any different. He'll give up at least 4 runs, and be gone by the 6th. The Phils know to just keep fouling off his change and get to the bullpen.

Not at all - maybe we had a disagreement here and there, but dislike - not on my end.

...and we have more in common than you think - I think the biggest difference is that I prefer brunettes...

My wife picked a great time to walk into the room as I opened up this thread.

"Who is that woman on your computer? Are you surfing porn or something?"

I wish I were....has to beat watching the Mets lay down for the Phils.
