Default Football Allegiance

I'm going to get killed for this here, but oh well here goes.

I'm a longtime Buffalo Bills fan....don't laugh. My first live football game was at the Ralph when I was a very impressionable 11 year old, have liked them ever since.

There's been talk about them possibly moving to Toronto. I cannot route for a canadian team, i just can't. What do I do about following (supporting) a new team? Do I just follow the NFL with no routing interest in any team? Pick the jets like most of my friends? Follow the eagles since I live in south jersey and my future in laws are die hards? What are your thoughts on who I should follow?

I had this same problem with the Hartford Whalers... and I've yet to find a different NHL team.

Definitely not the Eagles with that team's history and the reputation of their fanbase. And please not the Cowboys either, Chuck doesn't need any friends to team up with.

I'd say either the jets or the giants.

A Philly team is preferrable to a Canadian team? Not in my book.

Having gone to college in Buffalo I always felt a bit bad for Bills fans because if you listen to the NY shows you'd never know there were 3 NY teams with only 1 that actually plays in NY.....

I'd hate to see them move to Toronto. I love that city too, but Buffalo fans are absolute die hards for their teams (hockey included). Going to games there were some of the highlights for me when remembering my favorite sporting moments

If it was me, I'd probably follow the team to Toronto, but I cant say that would be an easy choice.

Rooting for the Super Bowl champs is usually a good start. How could anyone choose to be a Jet fan? LOL Most of the time it's just forced upon you as a kid.

I agree hat and having loved them since the kgun was being developed, although difficult, I would have a hard time rooting for a team from toronto.
