| I am an Eagles fan and can't stand him, especially the past few years. Heavily overrated legacy, plus every single season he pulls this "maybe I'll retire, maybe I'll not retire" routine for several months. But what do you Jets fans think? Is he awesome, average, sucky, the son of Satan, etc.? It seems the national media has not really been tapping into what Jets fans think. Good luck next season. You are one of the fan bases I empathize with.

| I'm not gonna be a hypocrite now after the fact.. I WANTED Farve and thought he could take this team to the next level..but I was wrong...not even saying 100% convincingly that he is DONE..but its not gonna work out here with THIS regime in place and with these WR's or system.... Worth a SHOT..rolled craps..time to move on.

| I think the fans of NFC teams knew the truth all along. Favre has been average or bad for many years now. But for whatever reason he gets a pass. He does some incredibly stupid stuff on the field, but the commentators laugh it off with that "He's just a kid having fun." crap. I just wish he would announce his retirement today, instead of doing this whole Prima Donna decision thing which takes weeks. ESPN needs to stop enabling him.

| Senior Member | Well he took a GB team that was pretty mediocre far last year...they just ran into a team that was on a mission....but he was horrible for the Jets down the stretch this year. He's done. He probably never should have left GB....and I agree with the retirement stuff, though last year was the peak of that. |

| I think he should be gone, but I also don't think I could ever bring myself to root for someone named Clemens.
