New Jersey Nets trade Vince Carter to Orlando Magic - New Jersey Nets Basketball - NJ.com The Nets have agreed in principle to trade their most dynamic player and top gate attraction to the Orlando Magic in exchange for three players, which will effectively help them clear roughly $18 million off their 2010-11 salary cap. Coming to New Jersey are point guard Rafer Alston, power forward Tony Battie, rookie shooting guard Courtney Lee, and a trade exception. Anderson will be sent to Orlando in a separate deal for another Magic trade exception. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Not good news for Knicks..more comp. for the BIG FA's I guess....but Nets are gonna be tough to watch next year....Having Alston redundant I guess.. can Harris play the 2 ? Asn as far as Magic...one SICK POTENT Lineup now..Superman now has a LEGIT scorer to support him now...
