8-8 by December. So far they are 7-7. They are one win and a lost from being that way. The rest of the way will be very tough.
You think a bad team is supposed to win 5 in a row? Come on. The essence of a weak team is inconsistency.

I don't see why a weak team is SUPPOSED to beat Atlanta twice on back to back nights. They were better last year and are better this year. Toronto was solid last year. Why are those not good wins but a loss to Indiana is a poor loss?

Yes I did. I thought They could win 5 in a row because the teams they faced are also inconsistent even with Atlanta to a hot start...now 9-6 this season BTW. Toronto was a good win. I thought I establish that when I said I was surprised they beat Toronto. Indiana was a poor lost for two reasons - one opinion and one fact that came up at the time they met. The fact was Indiana was missing 3/5 of their starting lineup and they played them twice. I predicted they will win both, but to not win one...especially the one after losing to Miami was tough to take. The opinion is I thought the Nets were a better team than them.

EDIT: Or worse, losing to the shorthanded Pacers after beating the Pistons. That was bad.

ATL was better than them last year and is still better than them this year. If IND is a poor loss, than the ATL games are good wins. Especially if you're predicting 30-35 wins. MIA is playing okay this year.

And while IND didn't have Granger, we didn't have Harris. Or, for the MIA game.

On the games for IND, the Nets have the best player - Carter and AGAIN, 3/5 of the starting lineup were gone. It was Carter and the Nets v. Indiana's bench and the bench won.

Im surprised by the nets, I didnt think theyd be this good. Harris is actually more of a standout than I thought he'd be, that Kidd trade is looking better and better

The Nets are now starting to eat my words a bit now. They will be 8-8 cause I don't see them beating the Suns, but they have beaten Toronto and Detroit and made Utah look silly. Income is smiling somewhere cause I never thought they would beat Utah.

They've beaten Det, Toronto and Atlanta TWICE. Four wins against teams that are better than. They are playing better than - that's why Frank deserves to stay. If Red Auerbach comes back from the dead and wants to coach the Nets, fine but until then, Frank has done a good job and does not deserve to be fired.
