| is the dullest act since Josh Groben. Why does youtube keep picking him out for me? I swear to God, I don't listen to anything dull enough to give youtube the idea that I would like Michael Buble. Then again - I have to get up in 5 hours and I'm too wired to sleep, so maybe somehow youtube knows that and I should stop trying to figure this out and just watch the singing ambien until I'm ready for bed. |

| Michael Buble was a WHOLE lot better when he was upbeat, had talent, blue eyes and Italian blood and everyone called him "Frank Sinatra". He was ok a little while later when he was a bayou boy shooting at space aliens with Will Smith and people knew him by "Harry Connick, Jr.". What I'm trying to say is that he's a rip off of a rip off.

| Finally - it took 6 months, but Youtube finally recommended stuff I like. Three Jam videos, 1 about card tricks (that sort of perplexes me, but whatever, it's no Michael Buble), and 4 about knitting. I'm trying to relearn how to crochet, so I watched a couple of crochet videos yesterday. Ironically, when I watch videos about things boring old ladies do, I get the Jam, but when I watch the Jam, they recommend Michael Buble. Go figure. |

| drinking is tons less taxing in the mental gymnastics arena than crochet and cross stitch and whatever the hell else you're trying.

| I was just listening to Harry Connick Jr. on one of the channels up at the high end that just play music and it reminded me of this conversation and I figured out why Michael Buble is so much more annoying. Harry Connick is like Matisse thought "You know, that Manet, he sure could paint. I am going to paint some peonies too." and broke out his tools and painted some peonies. Nobody would think it was terribly original, but a lot of people would still think it was pretty, because after all, Matisse was a pretty good painter himself. Michael Buble is like an 8th grader doing a report on Manet forgot to start it until after the library was closed. After she summarized the one book she read and knew she was turning in C- work, she broke out some construction paper and Crayola water colors and tried to paint some peonies for the optional extra credit "Make a piece of art inspired by the artist you chose" points. And even then she realized there was no way to paint pinkish peonies on blue construction paper with water colors, but she figured it was worth a shot. And the teacher got hammered before she looked at it and accidentally gave it a B+, so now the kid is out trying to sell herself as an artist. |
