| Yeah kind of amazing that it's taken until the second week of the season for anyone to start the LOST thread. Yes I for one find that this season absolutely kicks ass so far. Widmore an other? That was pretty cool. However I will say that I can see those guys quantum leaping the whole season could get pretty tired, pretty fast.

Some other things from last night: The woman holding the gun on Farraday while he inspects the bomb- his mother? It was such a good episode that I didn't realize the Oceanic 6 were not a part of it until the previews for next week.

| Widmore being an Other sheds SOME light on the conflict with Ben. Was Widmore usurped? The girl was named Ellie. Daniel's mother was named Elloise (so was the mouse ironically). Don't think it's THAT much of a stretch. You can almost bet on them jumping to a time when Dharma was active on the island. Remember something: Ben has vowed to kill Penny. Who was he hanging out with at the end of last week's episode? Some people believe that Matthew Abbadon is Walt.

| Right, and Desmond is heading to LA to find Faraday's mother. What I'm getting at is that Desmond is walking right into Ben's hands if that woman is Faraday's mother.

| Hurley's dad was watching that soap on TV that those two people (cant remember their names) were on. They ended up getting bit by spiders and all thought they were dead. They were buried alive. So is that how Locke appears dead in the coffin? Is he even dead? I didnt think he could die on the island...

| I will never understand how a show that made me laugh so hard it hurt (Arrested Development) can't survive, while a show that you can't watch unless you've seen every single episode, goes on year after year as a huge hit. They've made it impossible to find new fans, and yet it won't die. My friend tried to get me to start watching because she always wanted to talk about it - but it was impossible. I watched two consecutive episodes, in their entirety, last season and I might as well have read a pamphlet on neurosurgery and then tried to operate on myself using a compact mirror to see what I was doing. It's obviously a good show because its fans go psycho on you when you say something like this. It's just surprising that it's so unmarketable and yet so successful. |
