Good job putting Martinez back in the third slot after he hit .400 or so leading off. Corey Coles has done a good job, but Fernando should get the right of way on this one. Put Corey in the eight spot...

I see Mota is allowed to play in minor league games now. Nice first appearance by him.

By the way, I think it is complete bullsh*t that he is allowed to pitch in the minor leagues before his suspension is fully served. The most he should be able to do is workout in a Mets facility and pitch to minor leaguers in simulated games, in my opinion.

AS much as I'm hoping Mota returns as his at time dominating presence(from lst season).. I must admit I agree and was shocked that this was allowed..I mean if he was banned from ST and not allowed to pitch in ST GAMES which are EXHIBITION..how is it all of a sudden ok to pitch in REGULAR season MINOR games that DO COUNT?? I fanything he should have been able to pitch in MINORS ALL ALONG NO?

I'm sure it was collectively bargained, and I'm sure the commissioner was more than happy to put things like this in order to secure a tougher policy. The whole paid attendance thing is silly anyway. What if Mota pitched simulated games against Met minor leaguers where nobody paid to attend, what would be the difference?
