Martinez goes 2-4 in Game two as well, and is hitting over .400 since being moved to the leadoff spot. Perhaps Oberkfell will do the same with Gomez, who's slumping big time right now. I know people expect his power to develop at least some, but he's not a #3 hitter...

have you seen the New Orleans roster? Not only is he a number 3 hitter, he is a 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7

LOL...was gonna say the same thing.. DL is full..they are gonna struggle to score with all the retreads on the roster..

It was the same thing in Binghamton last year, and his OPS was about .200 - .300 points higher after they dropped him in the order. It can be even worse for their development make a kid think he has to carry a lineup...

And they might be retreads, but Tracy, Tatis, and Chip Ambres are having very good seasons so far. AAAA filler is there to help the young kids...
