Default Minors Report 4/8 (Sosa/Park)

New Orleans swept a twinbill from Nashville behind the solid pitching of Jorge Sosa and Chan Ho Park.

Sosa went 6 shutout innings in Game 1 for the 3-2 victory, but Lino Urdaneta almost cost him the W.

Park was even more impressive in the nightcap, making a Carlos Gomez RBI single stand up for the 1-0 victory.

17 year old Francisco Pena was a perfect 4-4, and Savannah won its first game of the season, beating Asheville 5-1.

Anyone see Privett in Brooklyn last year? He's a short lefty, good numbers though. Just turned 21...

Dustin Martin is making the jump to High A from Brooklyn? If he weren't 23 that would be impressive. He looks like a hitter...

I didn't realize Pena was batting cleanup for Savannah either. Wow. And Hector Pellot's picked up right where he left off in 2006. An .071 AVG with 3 errors. Keep that guy away from Juan Lagares...
