Thank goodness they demoted Owen to St. Lucie. I've been to two B-Mets games and he's been smoked in both of them. If Mejia or Holt are pitching the next time they are in Binghamton on a weekend (which could be late June), I will definitely try to make it especially now that I know I won't get stuck watching Owen pitch.

Ike Davis' perception is being skewed by his draft position. He's having a better year in the FSL than Murphy did at the same age, and was still the consensus best bat to take when he was selected...

Murphy - .285/.338/.430
Davis - .283/.367/.461

That being said, he hasn't played since Friday and is probably a shoe-in for a major injury...
