| I personally would love to see Benson get his ears knocked off by the Mets 5 or 6 times next year. Besides which, this would mean that Anna's back in the division...or is that the other way around?

| eh... if their mission is to replace a terrible pitcher in adam eaton with somebody likely to be a really bad one in benson, then I guess it's accomplished. I always thought resigning lohse actually makes some sense for them - he's not great, but he's better than benson. |

| Sorry, but Benson is a huge upgrade over Lohse as long as he stays healthy. The guy has always pitched well in division, and showed he had good stuff during his time here.

| They signed him to a minor league deal, so as much as I think he will suck it isn't that bad of a deal for them.
