Default Since the image will never go away...

I think the Mets should just trade Delgado to the Angels. They're looking to move Santana, and wanted Konerko earlier this winter. If the Mets pay the salary difference, it could be a possibility... and you can never have enough pitching.

Now who replaces Delgado? Well, here are the list of available 1Bmen (all but one are former Mets, LOL)... and even funnier is the list inclusdes guys who aren't 1bmen but HAVE played 1b before.

First basemen
Tony Clark (36)
Doug Mientkiewicz (34)
Shawn Green (35) - Type B
Mike Piazza (39) - Type B
Mike Sweeney (34)

Aww fudge, I just saw that Clark and Sweeney were both signed already.

So this whole idea now sucks, unless you want to platoon Green and Piazza. LOL

BTW, I see Mando is a FA. I hate saying this... but he should be brought back to complete this bullpen.

Okay KO, who exactly are we going to replace the Douche with? None of those choices excite me, even Piazza for a return engagement.

I'd say we ride it out the rest of the year, part ways and pray the Braves don't lock up Teixeira in the next 10 months.

The team's stuck with the guy, folks. The best thing to do is hope he plays decent so he can be traded.

It's the last year of his contract, I think. We just have to hope he bounces back this year. I for one think he will be better than last year.

GET THE PIECE OF CRAP McGimpy OFF MY TEAM NOW!!!!!

The McGimpy does most things upside down: eats, sleeps (an average of 23 hours per day), mates, and gives birth. Because of the McGimpy's upside down life, many of the McGimpy's internal organs (liver, stomach, spleen, pancreas) are in different positions from other mammals. McGimpy sometimes lets out a cry or hissing sound.

During the rare times the McGimpy goes down to the ground (such as to change trees for food), it moves very slowly.
