From Delcos' blog:

The LoHud Mets Blog » Blog Archive » Delgado says he’ll be ready

Quote:
Just got off the phone with Carlos Delgado and he said his fractured left hand has healed and he will begin swinging the bat next week.

“It’s back to where it was before the injury,’’ said Delgado. “I will be coming to spring training in good shape.’’

Wait. It's back to where it was, but he'll swing the bat next week? Sounds about right to me.

He actually blew his thumb off after somehow igniting a mixture of manure and household cleaners under a miniature Shea stadium in his basement.

For some reason, this thread title sounds like a movie. Along the lines of "hitlers head".
