Which combination would have had more benefit to the 2008 Mets, financially, on the field or as prospective trade bait? ---

Church and Schneider or Miguel Olivo and Lastings Milledge

Well for one thing, half the clubhouse would want to murder Olivo after that final weekend, so that don't help chemistry.

come on Frank, I know you are getting cranky and impatient BOTH justified fan emotions...but you just compared Roger Clemens to Miguel Olivo.

good point. I'm just tired and hungry....

"short weeks" really suck when the day off is in the middle as opposed to on Mon or Fri.....
