I'm not too familiar with the M's, but if they have a solid D it's not that bad. The K rate is terrible, but he's a huge ground-ball pitcher. The Twins always seem to have gloves if nothing else, so I'm sure they made him look better most of the time. His resume is probably better than Gil Meche's was when he got his ridiculous contract, though the perceived stuff/upside is less...

All of this is because the M's got spurned by Kuroda though, and their Japanese fetish makes Omar's Latin obsession look like a hobby...
